The Heart of Care: Meet Elisha Dupuis

Meet Elisha, Assistant Director of Nursing

At Presidential Oaks, we believe that “home” is a feeling created by people. It is in the connections between residents, the support of our staff, and the shared sense of community. This holiday season, we are honored to introduce you to Elisha Dupuis, a key member of our nursing leadership team whose story truly embodies the spirit of our community.

A Journey of Compassion

Elisha’s journey at Presidential Oaks began as a hospice nurse. For two years, she had the privilege of caring for residents and their families during some of life’s most profound moments. This experience instilled in her a deep passion for quality care, education, and safety, a passion that would lead her to her next chapter.

After a short time away, Elisha recently returned to the Presidential Oaks family, stepping into the multifaceted roles of Assistant Director of Nursing, Staff Development Coordinator, and Infection Prevention Nurse.

Leading with Heart

In her current roles, Elisha is a mentor and an educator, dedicated to supporting our nursing team and promoting best practices. She is a driving force in ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for both residents and staff. “I’m proud to be part of a team that truly puts people first,” she shares.

A Balancing Act of Love

Outside of her professional life, Elisha is a military wife and a proud mom to two boys who keep her life exciting, despite being 14 years apart. Her days are a unique blend of celebrating college milestones with her older son and navigating the world of second-grade homework with her younger one.

Balancing a demanding career in healthcare with a busy family life is a challenge she embraces with grace. For Elisha, the supportive environment at Presidential Oaks has been key. “I’m grateful to work in a place that feels like a second family,” she says.

Elisha’s story is a beautiful example of the dedication and heart that make our community so special. It is the people, like Elisha, who make Presidential Oaks a true home.
